Cabio GRID
The jobs you turn away are someone else’s empty car.
GRID is a neutral board where licensed operators hand work to each other. Post the job you cannot cover, or take one you can. You do not need to run Cabio to be on it.

The daily loss
Two problems, and they are each other’s answer.
Every operator has the call they had to turn down — an airport run at 4am, three jobs landing in the same ten minutes, a driver off sick on the school run. And every operator has the other half of it: a car sat doing nothing while the meter of the day keeps running.
Both are losses. They happen in the same town, often in the same hour, to firms who already know each other by name. GRID is the board that lets one cancel out the other.
How it works
A job, across the network, in four steps.
No phone calls round the trade, no group chat, no wondering whether the other firm actually picked it up.
Step 1
A job goes on the board
An operator with work they cannot cover posts it — pickup, destination, time, and what they will pay for it.
Step 2
The network sees it
Every member firm sees the same job at the same time. No queue jumping, no private list, no favourites.
Step 3
Someone covers it
A firm with a free car claims the job and runs it. The passenger is met, and the job stays tracked to completion.
Step 4
The GRID keeps the record
Both sides get a statement of what was covered and what is owed. You settle between yourselves — Cabio never touches the money.
Where you come in
Which side of it are you on today?
Most firms are on both sides in the same week — the board does not mind which.
I have work I cannot cover
Register your firm against your operator licence and put the job on the board. Any dispatch system, or none — GRID does not care what you run.
- No Cabio account needed
- Register with your operator licence
- Sign in by email link — no password to lose
- Set what you will pay before you post
I have cars that could be earning
If you run Cabio, the GRID is already in your dashboard — no separate login, no second system to watch. Available work appears alongside your own.
- Built into the Cabio dispatch board
- See what is available and what it pays
- Claim a job and run it like any other
- Statements arrive on your own schedule
The money
GRID keeps the record. You keep the money.
Cabio does not sit between two operators and their bank accounts. The GRID records what was covered and what was agreed, and issues both sides a statement on the schedule they choose. Settling up stays where it belongs — between the two firms.
No float to wait on, no payment processor in the middle taking a cut of work you did, and no third party deciding when you get paid.

What makes it different
A board owned by one operator is not a network.
The exchanges already in the trade are run by the dispatch companies themselves, and only work if everyone involved is a customer. GRID is built the other way round.
It belongs to no one operator
The GRID is neutral ground. It is not one firm's overflow list dressed up as a network, so covering a job does not mean feeding a competitor's book.
You do not have to run Cabio
Any licensed operator can register their firm and put work on the board, whatever dispatch system they use — or none at all.
Your customer stays yours
The firm covering the job gets what they need to do it. The relationship, the booking and the repeat business stay with the operator who took the call.
Every movement is on the record
Posted, offered, claimed, completed — each step is timestamped, so a disagreement about what happened is settled by the log rather than by memory.
Licensed firms only
Firms register against their operator licence before they can see the board, so work moves between real, licensed businesses.
You agree the price up front
What the covering firm gets paid is on the job before anyone claims it. No negotiating after the passenger is already home.
Straight answers
The questions operators ask first.
Do I need to be a Cabio customer?
Not to put work on the board. Any licensed operator can register their firm and post jobs, whatever they run their dispatch on. Covering work from inside the Cabio dashboard is a Cabio feature — but supplying work is open to everyone.
Who sees my passenger's details?
The firm that covers the job sees what it needs to do the job. It does not get your customer list, and the booking stays yours.
How do I get paid?
The price is agreed on the job before it is claimed. The GRID issues both firms a statement of what was covered and what is owed, and the two firms settle directly. Cabio never holds the funds.
What stops someone claiming a job and not turning up?
Every step is timestamped against a registered, licensed firm — posted, claimed, completed. There is a record of who took what, and it is the same record both sides see.
Stop turning work away.
Register your firm against your operator licence and put your first job on the board. It takes a few minutes, and it costs nothing to look.
