Accessibility Statement
Cabio — Taxi Dispatch Software Platform
1. Our commitment
Cabio is dispatch software used by taxi and private-hire operators across the UK. We are committed to ensuring that this website, the admin platform, and the passenger and driver applications we build are accessible to everyone, including disabled people. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standard, and we work continuously to improve the accessibility of everything we ship.
2. How accessible our software is
We have taken the following steps across this website and the booking, tracking and admin interfaces we provide: images include descriptive alternative text; pages use clear heading structures to aid navigation; colour contrast ratios meet WCAG 2.1 AA requirements; interfaces are navigable by keyboard; text scales with standard browser zoom controls; forms use clearly labelled fields with errors announced to assistive technology; links have descriptive text that makes sense out of context; motion and animation respect the operating system's reduced-motion setting; and layouts are responsive and usable on mobile devices and with screen readers.
3. Known limitations
While we strive for full accessibility, some older content or third-party embedded tools may not meet all accessibility standards. We are actively working to address these areas. If you encounter any specific barriers, please contact us directly and we will do our best to help.
4. Requesting accessible formats
If you need information from this website in a different format — larger print, plain text, or another accessible format — please contact us at hello@cabio.cab. We will respond within 2 working days and do our best to accommodate your needs.
5. If you are booking a journey
Cabio provides the software; the journey itself is provided by the licensed operator you book with. If you need a wheelchair-accessible vehicle, a vehicle with extra space, an assistance dog carried, or any other adjustment to your journey, please tell the operator at the time of booking — they are responsible for meeting that request. Our booking and tracking pages include a field for special requirements so that it reaches the operator and the driver. If you cannot complete a booking because of a barrier in our software rather than the operator's service, please tell us and we will fix it.
6. Legal basis
This statement is provided in accordance with the Equality Act 2010, which requires service providers to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that services are accessible to disabled people.
7. Reporting accessibility issues
If you find any content on our website that is not accessible, or if you experience any difficulty using our services, we would like to hear from you. Please contact us at hello@cabio.cab. We take all accessibility feedback seriously and will work to resolve issues as quickly as possible.
8. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility complaint, you may contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com or by calling 0808 800 0082.
